Ciarametaro served in the United States Coast Guard from October 2006 through October 2026, completing 20 years of combined active-duty and reserve service. His Coast Guard experience included small-boat operations, navigation, maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, operational planning, vessel boarding, and leadership responsibilities.
Harbor & Waterfront Management Experience
Ciarametaro also served in municipal harbor and port management in Gloucester, Massachusetts, where his responsibilities included harbor operations, maritime infrastructure, regulatory coordination, waterfront access, vessel activity, and coordination with local, state, and federal maritime stakeholders.
